Adrian Ventura 20th Century Studios released new images from the highly anticipated Avatar: The Way of Water.
James Cameron wrote the script along with Josh Friedman (Snowpiercer). Avatar: The Way of Water sees the return of Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, CCH Pounder, and Matt Gerald. Director James Cameron stated the movie would “push the limits of the big screen.”
Set more than a decade after the events of the first film, Avatar: The Way of Water begins to tell the story of the Sully family, the trouble that follows them, the lengths they go to keep each other safe, the battles they fight to stay alive, and the tragedies they endure.
The film stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, CCH Pounder, Jamie Flatters, Britain Dalton, Trinity Bliss, Bailey Bass, Filip Geljo, Duane Evans Jr., Giovanni Ribisi, Joel David Moore, Dileep Rao, Matt Gerald, Jack Champion, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang, Kate Winslet, Cliff Curtis, Edie Falco, Brendan Cowell, Michelle Yeoh, Jemaine Clement, Oona Chaplin, Vin Diesel, and CJ Jones.
Avatar: The Way of Water premieres in theaters on December 16. The other three sequels will hit theaters -in 2024, 2026, and 2028.
