Action Point Trailer Brings on the laughs

Paramount Pictures released the first trailer for the comedy film Action Point. The film is about a lawless theme park that pushes to become more dangerous and exciting when a new theme park threatens to take customers away.

Starring Johnny Knoxville, Chris Pontius, Johnny Pemberton and Brigette Lundy-Paine with Tim Kirkby directing. Knoxville also serves as a producer along with Dave Krinsky and John Altschuler.

The source material for this film is the real life “Action Park” located in Vernon, New Jersey that opened in the late 70s. The park was also known as “Class Action Park” due to the many injuries and even fatalities that happened in the park due to unsafe conditions of rides and attractions. Several lawsuits forced it’s closing in the late 80s.

Action Point will be released in Theaters June 1st.
