Amy Pascal Talks Spider-Man Sequel

The Spider-Man: Homecoming premiere kicked off last night & many fans got the chance to attend the early screening of the film. During the red carpet event, Fandom got the chance to speak with Sony‘s Amy Pascal & she revealed some interesting news about the Spider-Man sequel.

According to Pascal, the story for the Spider-Man sequelwill pick up right after the 4th installment of the Avengers.

Pascal said:

“What I think we should focus on is this Spider-Man who started in Civil War and then has this movie, and then will be in the Avengers movie. And we are starting now the next one which will start a few minutes after Avengers 4 wraps as a story.”

Spider-Man: Homecoming will hit theaters on July 7, 2017. The film stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Jon Favreau, Zendaya, Donald Glover, Tyne Daly, Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr.

Several months after the events of Captain America: Civil War, Peter Parker, with the help of his mentor Tony Stark, tries to balance his life as an ordinary high school student in Queens, New York City while fighting crime as his superhero alter ego Spider-Man as a new threat, the Vulture, emerges.
