Bandai Namco revealed their upcoming Digimon game via Shueisha’s September Shonen Jump issue. The game will be released on the PlayStation 4 & Nintendo Switch in 2019. The game will have a mixture of 2D & 3D gameplay.
The outcome of the story will depend on the decisions the player makes in the game. However, the fighting style is strategy-based on grid-based fields.
The game follows Takuma Momotsuka who is suddenly transported to the digital world where the Digimon reside. Takuma is a second-year junior high school student & is partnered with Agumon.
