Director Revealed For Escape Plan Sequel

In 2013, Sylvester Stallone & Arnold Schwarzenegger teamed up for Summit Entertainment‘s Escape Plan. The film was met with mixed reviews, but it also made enough money at the box office to push forward with a sequel.

It was announced today that Steven C. Miller (Arsenal) has signed up to helm the film. Stallone has signed back up for the sequel, but as of right now, Schwarzenegger is still in talks. The first film starred Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jim Caviezel, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Vinnie Jones, Vincent D’Onofrio & Amy Ryan.

The first film follows Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone), who knows how to infiltrate a prison — and bust out of one. His latest job leads to a double-cross, leaving him stuck in a high-tech facility with the worst that society has to offer. Luckily for Ray, he meets Emil Rottmayer (Arnold Schwarzenegger), an inmate who secretly helps him hatch a plot to win his freedom. Only sadistic warden Hobbes (Jim Caviezel) stands in the way of the two men successfully making it out alive.

No release date for the sequel was announced.
