Disney Looking To Bring Rey, Finn & Poe Into Star Wars Films After Episode IX

Disney is pushing heavy with their beloved Star Wars franchise. Besides the episodic Star Wars movies, Disney is also focusing on the Star Wars solo films like Solo: A Star Wars Story, the Obi-Wan Kenobi solo film, the Yoda solo film & the Jabba the Hut solo film. Eyes are mainly locked on the films that include the new trio Rey, Finn & Poe, & it looks like Disney has taken notice of this & has decided to keep the trio together for another trilogy.

Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy has opened up about the next ten years of Star Wars movies & what or who they plan on keeping around for the next round of films.

Kathleen Kennedy said:

“We’re sitting down now, we’re talking about the next ten years of Star Wars stories, and we’re looking at narratively where that might go. Future stories beyond Episode IX with these new characters: Rey, Poe, Finn, BB-8. But we’re also looking at working with people that are interested in coming into the Star Wars world and taking us to places that we haven’t been yet. And that’s exciting too because its a vast galaxy far, far away, so the possibilities are endless.”

I guess this confirms that the trio from the new trilogy won’t die in the next two films & that we will see further growth from characters we’ve become attached to. What do you think about this,?
