First Poster & Photos From Paramount Pictures Pet Semetary Remake Are Here

As most of knew Stephen King is establishing his own horror cenematic universe again in the big screen. Although The Dark Tower failed to bring the fans of the books & newcomers into its grasp, Andy Muschietti’s IT kicked off King’s new cinematic universe.

King’s next film will be the remake for Pet Semetary, which is set to arrive on the big screen on April 5, 2019! Paramount Pictures revealed six new photos from the film & also pushed out the official poster! Check it out below.

The film will star Jason Clarke as Louis Creed, Amy Seimetz as Rachel Creed, Jeté Laurence as their daughter Ellie, twins Hugo and Lucas Lavoie as Gage, & John Lithgow as Jud Crandal. The film will be directed by Kevin Kölsch & Dennis Widmyer.

Louis Creed, his wife Rachel and their two children Gage and Ellie move to a rural home where they are welcomed and enlightened about the eerie ‘Pet Sematary’ located near their home. After the tragedy of their cat being killed by a truck, Louis resorts to burying it in the mysterious pet cemetery, which is definitely not as it seems, as it proves to the Creeds that sometimes, dead is better.
