During the Gundam Figures Live!!! event, it was revealed that a new Gundam 00 anime will be released! The anime will be CG & the anime will fly under the title “Revealed Chronicle”. Seiji Mizushima, director of the earlier Gundam 00 anime is returning to helm Revealed Chronicle.

Revealed Chronicle will not be a full anime series & it will focus on stories that fill in areas not covered in the two seasons of Gundam 00. Big reveals will include the missing link to the GN Drive & the secrets of the Double Drive. We’ll also see new mobile suits for Lockon, Stesuna & other characters.  Take a look at the teaser trailer below.

Gundam 00 ran from 2007 to 2009 & is the eleventh installment in Sunrise studio’s long-running Gundam franchise comprising two seasons. The anime takes place in the distant future, where mankind has used up all its fossil fuels, forcing them to turn to Solar Power as an alternate energy source. As a result, this causes a rift between richer and poorer nations, eventually leading to war. During this conflict, a mysterious military group known as “Celestial Being” aims to use force to bring peace to the world by using special humanoid weapons known as Gundams.
