Sean Marshall News on Disney’s Spider-Man has been very slow & the plot of the third film has been tossed back & forth between fans. Today, The Hollywood Reporter brought some surprising news about the upcoming third film that will surely shock some fans.
Word broke today that Jaime Foxx will be joining the third Spider-Man film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! The most interesting thing about Foxx joining the film is that he’ll be joining as the same Electro he played in 2014’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2! Although no word has released about the plot, it’s starting to look like the film may bring in the Sinister Six, which was a move Sony was going to make in their Amazing Spider-Man trilogy. This can also be the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s jump into the multiverse, especially since Doctor Strange’s next film is supposed to open that door.
Filming is expected to begin in late 2020 & last until February 2021. The next Spider-Man will hit theaters on December 17, 2021.
