Jayme Lawson Joins Matt Reeves ‘The Batman’

Matt Reeves The Batman film has been the talk of the comic book & film communities these past few weeks. Although we are still awaiting an update on the synopsis of the film, some casting news has stirred up some hype that surrounds Andy Serkis being in talks to play Alfred, Batman’s butler.

Some additional casting news landed today that has once again rocked the community. It was confirmed today that June Lawson has joined The Batman. This is Lawson’s first Hollywood film, but the Julliard graduate has had lead roles in school plays like Hamlet & Romeo & Juliet.

The film is directed by Matt Reeves, who wrote the screenplay with Mattson Tomlin, and will star Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne / Batman, with Jeffrey Wright, Zoë Kravitz, and Paul Dano in supporting roles. The film will hit theaters on June 25, 2021.
