New Digimon Film Is On The Way & Will Focus On Digimon Crew As Adults

Toei Animation brought the Digimon Adventure & Digimon Adventure 02  crew together again in a series that flee under the Digimon Adventure tri. name. The first film landed in November of 2015 & the last film dropped in May of 2018. Most fans assumed that the last film we got in May would be the last time we’d see the Digimon 01 & Digimon 02 crew but that feeling can now be put to rest.

At the The “Digimon Kanshasai 2018 -Special Meeting in Odaiba-” in Japan yesterday, a new Digimon Film called “Gekijō-ban Digimon Adventure”(Digimon Adventure the Movie). The story for the film is being kept under wraps, but a visual of a 22-year old Taichi Yagami & Yamato Ishida was shown at the event!

Kenji Watanabe will be returning to do the designs for the Digimon, Hiromi Seki, producer of the past Digimon projects, will be surpervising the film & Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru will be returning to do the character designs.

This should definitely excited fans, because we were teased with the adult characters from the 01 & 02 series at the end of the last episode of Digimon Adventure 02. The end of the episode revealed th children of the crew & also revealed that some of the teammates had children together.

The Digimon Adventure tri. films are a six-part series that serve as a direct sequel to the first two television series, Digimon Adventure & Digimon Adventure 02.
