One-Punch Man Season 2 Introduces New Character

If you haven’t heard, because you have been living under a rock, the 2nd season of One-Punch Man will be airing April 2019! This anticipated show, that has been on hiatus since the end of 2015, has announced that it will be back in full force for its 2nd season premiere.

If that wasn’t enough to get your body tingling with excitement, the production team has also revealed a few surprises. TV Tokyo revealed a new character for the upcoming season 2 of One-Punch Man. The new character joining the roster is the four-time champion of the Super Fight tournament, who is legendary for being the youngest champion, Suiryū!!! This new character will be voiced by Masaya Matsukaze. This is not Mr. Matsukaze’s first time voicing characters in anime. He has appeared in animes such as: Death Note, Hunter x Hunter, Danganronpa: The Animation, Naruto, Pokémon & many more. Check out the image below of Suiryū.

Another added specialty is a change in theme music. JAM Project will be performing the famous opening theme song “Seijaku no Apostle” (Quiet Apostle). This song and another song, yet to be revealed, will come in two editions, artist cover and anime art cover. These songs are set to go on sale April 24th.
