Sean Marshall Shazam is picking up the spotlight after the hard fall of WB’s Justice League. The casting of Zachary Levi as Shazam, Asher Angel as Billy Batson & Mark Strong as Doctor Sivana was welcomed by comic book readers & moviegoers.
According to The Wrap, a new character has been revealed & cast for the upcoming film. It was Revealed today that Ron Cephas Jones is joining the film as The Wizard. The Wizard is an ancient Egyptian wizard who has been using his powers for many centuries to fight the forces of evil. Since he has grown old & is unable to fight evil like he used to, he passes along part of his power to Billy, who shouts his name – “SHAZAM!” – to transform into Captain Marvel/Shazam.
Shazam will be directed by David F. Sandberg & stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Mark Strong, Eon Cephas Jones, Jack Dylan Grazer, Grace Fulton, Ian Chen & Jovan Armand.
