Series Based on the Conjuring Will Make Its Home on Max

Warner Bros Discovery has recently revealed there will be a drama series in development inspired by The Conjuring movie franchise.

James Wan and Peter Safran will serve as executive producers. The series will stream on the newly rebranded Max. As of now the project remains untitled and no further information is available.

The Conjuring universe consists of seven films which include The Conjuring, Annabelle, The Conjuring 2, Annabelle Creation, Annabelle Comes Home, The Nun, and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. The films grossed over two billion dollars, becoming the highest grossing horror franchise to date.

The main Conjuring films follow demonologists Ed Warren played by Patrick Wilson and Lorraine Warren played by Vera Farmiga. The next film coming from The Conjuring universe will be The Nun 2, set to release in theaters September 8.
