Story Trailer For Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League Revealed

Rocksteady Studios released the first story trailer for the upcoming Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League video game! We first saw the teaser trailer for this game during 2020’s DC Fandome & were left wondering just how this game would be played & how the heck Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang & King Shark were going to take down the Justice League.

Although we get to see just who these four Suicide Squad members will be targeting from the Justice League, we didn’t get to see any gameplay. That being said seeing John Stewart aka Green Lantern, Superman, Wonder Woman & The Flash under Brainiacs control is a very interesting approach to take especially since in one part of the trailer it looks like Wonder Woman is fighting an infected Superman.

The game will focus on Brainiac attacking Metropolis and the government task force known as the Suicide Squad – Harley Quinn (Tara Strong), Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, and King Shark (Samoa Joe) – being sent by Amanda Waller to investigate and kill the “Alpha Target”. After a battle with Brainiac’s minions, the team has a run-in with Superman, who is being mind-controlled by Brainiac, revealed as the Alpha Target.

The game can be played solo & features a four-player cooperative multiplayer mode. When played solo, players can switch between characters at will while the other characters are controlled by AI. The game will release on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S & PC in 2022. Check out the trailer below.
