Sean Marshall Square Enix & Disney have been heavily pushing promotions for next year’s Kingdom Hearts III. We got the chance to see a trailer & an extended trailer for the Kingdom Hearts III game during the Tokyo Game Show, which revealed some in-depth Big Hero 6 gameplay & some new gameplay from worlds we saw in previous trailers. Gamers thought being that this was the end to the Kingdom Hearts trilogy that they’d no longer see any new adventures from Sora, but it looks like we can stay locked into our gamer chairs, because Tetsuya Nomura has more to tell.
During the Tokyo Game Show stage presentation of Kingdom Hearts III, Nomura reconfirmed that Kingdom Hearts III will be the end of the Dark Seeker Saga & also revealed that this will not be the last time we see Sora!
Nomura said:
“It’s most definitely not the end of Kingdom Hearts. I’d like to continue Sora’s story.”
This is great news & definitely means that fans can look forward to seeing a new enemy arise that will keep Sora’s story alive! Nomura also confirmed the ages of Aqua, Ventus, Tera, Young Xehanort & Master Xehanort. Aqua is 18, Ventus is 16, Terra is 20, Young Xehanort is 18-20 & Master Xehanort is in his 80’s. Kingdom Hearts III will hit the PlayStation 4 & Xbox One in Japan on January 25, 2019 & in the west on January 29, 2019.
