The First Official Trailer For Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Arrives

 

Yesterday, Sony Pictures teased fans with a teaser trailer to the sequel of the 1995 Jumanji film. Although it was a very short but entertaining teaser, the footage did spark some additional interest amongst fans that were somewhat against the wall.

The official trailer was released this morning with Dwayne Johnson openjng up for the trailer. Take a look at the trailer below.

The film will be directed by Jake Kasdan & written by Chris McKenna, Erik Sommers, Scott Rosenberg & Jeff Pinkner. The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Karen Gillan, & Nick Jonas. It is scheduled to be released on December 22, 2017.

Four high school kids discover an old video game console and are drawn into the game’s jungle setting, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. What they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji – you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves – or they’ll be stuck in the game forever.
