Sean Marshall When the teaser trailer for Venom was released, fans initially gave it the cold shoulder because Sony didn’t give us a look at the symbiote or Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) in the Venom suit. Most of us left the teaser calling it a slow burn or something that didn’t leave a hype-worthy sensation through our geeky spines. However, as Hardy promised, a new trailer was released at this year’s CinemaCon & it gave fans a taste of what this new take on Venom will be & how he looks. Venom will hit theaters in 2018. The film will be directed by Ruben Fleischer & will start Tom Hardy, Riz Ahmed, Michelle Williams & Jenny Slate in unknown roles.
