Sean Marshall Director David F Sandberg took to his Instagram to share that production has started on the 7th film of the DCEU, Shazam! Sandberg teased fans with a photo of day one’s production that said “Franklin”.
Not much is known about Shazam! as of yet, but the origins of the hero start with young Billy Batson, a teenager granted the power of become Shazam, a hero with superhuman abilities in adult form.
Shazam! stars Asher Angel, Zachary Levi, Mark Strong, Ron Cephas Jones, Grace Fulton and Jack Dylan Grazer and is set for an April 5th 2019 release from Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema.
