Teaser trailer for The Predator is here

After months of waiting and growing anticipation from fans of the iconic Predator monster, 20th Century Fox has released a small teaser trailer for Shane Black’s The Predator this morning.

Starring Boyd Holbrook, Olivia Munn, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Keegan-Michael Key, Jacob Tremblay, Alfie Allen, Thomas Jane and Yvonne Strahovski. Black, who starred in 1987’s Predator also worked on the script as a “script doctor” for the original film, but was uncredited.

While it’s exciting to finally get to see what Shane Black and crew have been working on, the teaser itself doesn’t give away too much of the film’s plot or characters. Mind you, we probably will get a full trailer soon as we are 4 months away from release.

A synopsis for the reboot is as follows…

From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.

The Predator will be released in Theaters September 14th. Check out the teaser below.
