Alternate Post-Credit Scene From Power Rangers Film Revealed

Lionsgate’s Power Rangers movie did not hit as solid as it was expected to hit with longtime fans & casual moviegoers alike. Despite the subtle shakeup in theaters, most fans left the film talking about the post-credit scene that teased Tommy, the Green Ranger, would make an appearance in the sequel.

John Gatkin, writer in the film, revealed that another post-credit scene was originally planned to be viewed by moviegoers.

Gatkin said:

“Well we were going to have that there was a brawl in the lunch room.nAnd a couple of our kids saying: ‘Man, what happened?’ ‘Dude there was this violent fight. There’s this one crazy kid, the new kid.’ ‘Which kid, Tommy Oliver?’ ‘Yeah’. So you would have felt like Tommy into their world.”

Five high school students Zack, Kimberly, Billy, Trini, and Jason are chosen by mentor Zordon to become the Power Rangers after learning that their small town of Angel Grove and the world are threatened by an alien force led by Rita Repulsa.Power Rangers hit theaters on March 24, 2017.
