Sean Marshall It hit home with many fans of James Gunn about his offensive tweets & firing by Disney from the third Guardians of the Galaxy film. The firing of James Gunn left the fans & cast bitter towards Disney & it seemed that Disney was standing firm about their decision on Gunn’s removal until today’s big news hit.
According to Deadline, Gunn is officially back to helm Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Walt Disney Studios President Alan Horn decided to reverse the decision after sympathizing with Gunn’s open apology. However, with the film not budging due to the cast not wanting to work with anyone else besides Gunn, it would seem that the real reason for bringijng Gunn back is clear. Also, the fact that Gunn was brought over to WB’s Suicide Squad sequel to direct was definitely a hard hit to his previous home.
Guardians of the Galaxy 3 is still scheduled to be hitting theaters in 2020.
