Sean Marshall New Line Cinemas may have their mouths somewhat shut about the upcoming IT remake, but they’re still catching the eyes of fans by releasing photos about the film. With Bill Skarsgård aiming to scare moviegoers as Pennywise & a cast of new faces taking the lead, the film does seem to be starting off on a good foot.
A new image was released today from the film that gives us an eerie look at Pennywise. Check out the new photo below.
It begins with the murder of a child, George Denbrough, in a small town’s local storm drain, in the fall of 1988. One year later, in the summer of 1989, Georgie’s older brother and his group of friends begin a search for the killer, eventually discovering the murder was committed by an evil entity.
The film stars Bill Skarsgård, Jaeden Lieberher, Finn Wolfhard, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, & Jeremy Ray Taylor. The film will be directed by Andrés Muschietti & will hit theaters on September 8, 2017.
