The film will be produced by New Line Cinema, Atomic Monster, The Wolper Organization, and Vertigo Entertainment. Salem Lot stars  stars Lewis Pullman, Makenzie Leigh, Bill Camp, Pilou Asbæk, Alfre Woodard, and William Sadler. 

The movie is based on Stephen King’s 1975 novel ‘Salem’s Lot, which spawned the 1979 two-part miniseries, Salem’s Lot (1979) and the 1987 sequel A Return to Salem’s Lot.

Ben Mears is a writer who returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration, only to discover his hometown is being preyed upon by a vampire, leading him to band together with a ragtag group to fight it.

Salem’s Lot will premiere on Max on October 3, 2024.
