Men in Black Reboot Eyes Chris Hemsworth As Lead

Chris Hemsworth definitely had a good run in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe as Thor & recently said that he doesn’t think he’ll return for a new set of Thor films. With the MCU looking like it’s in Hemsworth’s past, Sony is looking to bring him into their new Men in Black franchise. It was announced today that Hemsworth is in talks to join the Men in Black reboot in a lead role. The film will be directed by F. Gary Gray & will be written by Matt Holloway & Art Marcum. The film currently does not have a release date.

Although we don’t know much of the premise for the film, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that the film will take place in London & will center on a “new combination” of characters that include “a white character, a black woman, and an older man.” The film will not feature the original duo Tommy Lee Jones & Will Smith.

We’ll keep you posted with more news as it releases.
