The last time we saw The Flash on the big screen was back in Warner Bros. Pictures 2016 Justice League film. With directors being bouncing in & out if this project & Ezra Miller becoming more silent as the months pass, moviegoers began to think that they would never again see The Flash on the big screen or at least Miller’s version.
IT’s director Andy Muschietti was confirmed today to be helming The Flash film over at WB & Miller is still attached.
Muschietti had this to say when asked if the film will bring over an element of horror:
“An element of horror? I don’t think so. What captivated me about the Flash is the human drama in it. The human feelings and emotions that play in the drama [of it]. It’s going to be fun, too. I can’t promise that there will be any horror [elements in it], really, but it’s a beautiful human story.”
No release date or additional cast was revealed, but I think we can all say that it’s good to see WB has given The Flash another go.
