Avengers: Kang Dynasty & Avengers: Secret Wars Will Not Be Helmed By The Russo Brothers

Yesterday was a big day at San Diego Comic Con for Marvel fans. Not only did we get the release dates for the Fantastic Four, Avengers: Kang Dynasty & Avengers: Secret Wars, but we also got to see the teaser trailer for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

Most fans assumed that the two Avengers films arriving in 2025 would be helmed by the Russo brothers, but it looks like fans might be disappointed.

Kevin Fiege said this about talks of the Russo’s returning for the two Avengers films: “They’re not connected to it. They’ve been very direct about that. We love them, they love us. We want to find something to do together, it’s not this.“

If Fiege is being direct about the Russo brothers not returning, we can only hope that the director he chooses can handle these epic films.

Avengers: Kang Dynasty is set for May 2, 2025, & Avengers: Secret Wars will hit theaters on November 7, 2025.
