Chloe Grace Moretz & John O’Connell Head To The Big Screen As Bonnie & Clyde

There are a number of classic films that are either being rebooted or remade on the big screen. Well, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Bonnie & Clyde are heading back to the big screen. On top of the criminal duo heading back to the big screen, Chloe Grace Moretz & John O’Connell will be playing Bonnie & Clyde in Love is a Gun.

The film will be following Jeff Guinn’s book Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde. The film is being written by Shelly Turner & Johnny Newman. Marissa McMahon, Ashley Schlaifer, Sean & Bryan Furst are producing.

The production team had this to say collectively:

“We are excited to reintroduce the iconic story of Bonnie and Clyde. Their story remains ubiquitous in popular culture across the globe, yet few in this generation know the details of their intimate love affair and the circumstances that led to their notorious crime spree that captured the imagination of the world in their time. Kike, Chloë and Jack are completely in sync about the character-driven approach we will be taking, and we feel lucky to have a creative team of this high caliber leading us forward,”

Love is a Gun is described as a “thrilling, gritty and emotional story of two of history’s most famous lovers, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow.”
