Donald Glover Is Bringing A Deadpool Animated Series To FXX

Donald Glover definitely has his hands full with his Fox series & Disney’Store upcoming The Lion King live-action adaption. Glover was pushed further into the spotlight when fans wanted him to become to become the next big screen Spider-Man.Even though Marvel passed up on Glover for the role of Spider-Man, it doesn’t seem like he’s going to step away from the comic book universe.

It was announced today that Glover & Stephen Glover will be bringing a Deadpool animated series to FXX. Jeph Loeb & Jim Cory, executive producers at Marvel Television will be joining the brothers.

Loeb had this to say:

“How much more fun could this be? Deadpool, Donald and FX – the perfect fit for the Merc with the Mouth. We’re thrilled that our relationship with FX that started with ‘Legion’ continues with what is sure to be a groundbreaking show in adult animation.”

“Donald Glover is an incredibly gifted and versatile artist who’ll bring the untitled Marvel’s Deadpool series to life with the same intense, singular vision as his breakout hit Atlanta. With the success of Legion, we’re looking forward to again partnering with Marvel Television to create a series that is bold, striking and entirely original.”
