Actor Lance Reddick (The Wire, John Wick) has passed away today from natural causes, according to his publicist Mia Hansen. Police were called to the actor’s home in Valley Village, a neighborhood in Los Angeles, this morning at 9 am.
Hansen had this to say:
“Acclaimed actor Lance Reddick passed away suddenly this morning from natural causes. Lance will be greatly missed. Please respect his family’s privacy at this time.”
Reddick was best known for his role in the 2002 HBO series The Wire, where he played lieutenant Cedric Daniels. He’s also known for his role as Charon, the concierge at the Continental Hotel’s New York City. He starred in four of the John Wick films alongside Keanu Reeves. The actor also voiced Sylens in both Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Foribidden West games and was set to headline the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series on Disney Plus as Zeus.
