Lamar Johnson Joins X-Men: Dark Phoenix

Earlier today, we reported on Fox’s The New Mutants swap out with Rosario Dawson for Alice Braga, but it looks like Fox isn’t done releasing some news from their X-Men films. News hit that Lamar Johnson from the Canadian television show The Next Step has signed in to join the X:Men: Dark Phoenix film.

Johnson’s character is being kept under lock & key, but some fans may point the finger at Johnson possibly being Spyke, who some might know from the WB X-Men: Evolution animated series. Evan Peters is also confirmed to be returning at Quicksilver.

X:Men: Dark Phoenix will be directed by Simon Kimberg. The film stars Sophia Turner, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Alexandra Shipp, Tye Sheridan, Kodi Smit-McPhee & Jessica Chastain. X-Men: Dark Phoenix hits theaters on November 2, 2018.
