It seems like Marvel is full of favorable surprises & they know how to please their fans year round. The small trailer for Avengers: Infinity War was released during the Super Bowl & fans lost their minds over the footage & hungered for May to see their favorite comic book characters go against Thanos in May. However, it seems like we won’t have to wait as long as we thought to see the film.
It was announced today that Marvel has officially moved Avengers: Infinity War up to April 27th, which is a full week ahead of its original release date! Marvel is definitely going to shut down the box office throughout April & May. How do you guys feel about this?
Four years after the events of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, the Avengers have been torn apart following the events of Captain America: Civil War. When Thanos arrives on Earth to collect the Infinity Stones for a gauntlet that will allow him to bend reality to his will, the Avengers must join forces with the Guardians of the Galaxy to stop him before his onslaught of destruction puts an end to the universe.
The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, with a screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely. The film stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scalett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olson, Jeremy Renner, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Don Cheadle, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Pom Klementieff, Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Sean Gunn, Tom Holland, Josh Brolin, and Paul Rudd. The film hits theaters on April 27, 2018.
