Sean Marshall Moviegoers were shocked & surprised to find out during the Super Bowl that the third film in the Cloverfield franchise, The Cloverfield Paradox, would not be hitting the big screen but would be streaming on Netflix. The film released on Sunday after the Super Bowl & was surprisingly met with your reviews from critics.
Paramount Pictures announced today that the next film in the franchise will be returning to the big screen. The film as originally supposed to release on Netflix. This could possibly be happening because of the unfavorable reviews or because of the lack of hype around the film. Overlord, which is the current title of the next film, will focus on Allied soldiers shot down behind enemy lines on the eve of D-Day who will face off against supernatural beings.
Overlord will hit theaters on October 26, 2018.
