Sean Marshall We haven’t seen any new updates from Sony’s upcoming Uncharted film starring Tom Holland since October 2020’s image showing him geared up as Nathan Drake. Today, Sony released a new image via an article from The New York Times that shows Tom Holland & Mark Wahlberg as Nathan Drake & Victor Sullivan. Check out the image below.
The film was supposed to release this year, but due to the pandemic, it was pushed back to 2022. Despite the video game series being loved across the board by gamers, some fans are still against the wall about Sony bringing a young Nathan to the big screen & some have also spoken out Wahlberg being cast as the beloved Sully & Holland being cast as Nathan, especially since Nathan Fillion is a fan-favorite choice to play Nathan. However, I think taking on Nathan’s earlier years is a great idea & if done right, it could catapult the film series in a great direction.
The film stars Tom Holland as Nathan Drake, and Mark Wahlberg as his mentor Victor Sullivan, Antonio Banderas, Sophia Taylor Ali, and Tati Gabrielle. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on February 18, 2022.
