Spider-Man Swings Onto The PlayStation 4 This Fall; Deluxe Edition & Collector’s Edition Revealed

It was last year’s E3 that caught the attention of Marvel fans around the globe when Insomniac Games revealed that they are working on a Spider-Man game. Not only was the game beautiful to look at, but New York City is incredibly larger than previous entries & the game mechanics seemed more fluid than previous entries. Insomniac Games left fans wondering when in 2018 would they be able to kick it with Spider-Man on the PlayStation 4, but Sony has now officially revealed the release date.

According to Sony, the Spider-Man game will officially hit the PlayStation 4 on September 7th! To keep fans on the edge of their seats, they also revealed a pre-order video that reveals some DLC news & the Digital Deluxe which is marked for $79.99 & Collector’s Edition which is marked for $149.99! The Digital Deluxe comes with:

  • Spider-Man game
  • Three new story chapters from the post-launch DLC series – Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps. This will include new missions, characters, suits & villains.
  •  If you pre-order the Digital Deluxe edition, you will receive by mail a limited edition collectible pin (only available to residents of the US and Canada) that has Spider-Man as he appears on the cover art for the game.

The Collector’s Edition will include:

  • All of the digital content from the Digital Deluxe Edition
  • Steelbook case featuring the white spider
  • Mini Artbook from Titan Books
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man statue by Gentle Giant.
