Jenna Dewan is confirmed to be continuing her portrayal as Lois’ younger sister (Lucy Lane) in the upcoming second season of ‘Superman & Lois.’
The actress will be joining Tyler Hoechlin (Clark Kent) and Elizabeth Tulloch (Lois Lane), who are also among a shortlist of reoccurring actors between the two shows.
The series follows our heroes after years of facing supervillains, monsters, and alien invaders, Clark Kent and Lois Lane come face to face with one of their greatest challenges ever… dealing with all the stress, pressures, and complexities that come with being working parents in today’s society. Clark and Lois must also concern themselves with whether or not their sons, Jonathan and Jordan, could inherit their father’s superpowers. Returning to Smallville to handle some family business, Clark and Lois are reacquainted with Lana Lang, who also happens to be Clark’s first love, and her husband, Kyle Cushing. Additionally, the Kent sons are reacquainted with Lana and Kyle’s rebellious daughter, Sarah. There’s never a dull moment in the life of a superhero, especially with General Samuel Lane, Lois’s Father, looking for Superman to save the day at a moment’s notice. Meanwhile, Superman and Lois’ return to Smallville is set to be upended when a mysterious stranger enters their lives.
‘Superman & Lois’ went through immense success throughout its run, providing major ratings and maintaining one of the most consistent audiences of the network’s spring season. Unfortunately, it won’t get the chance to do so again until sometime in 2022.
