Sean Marshall Warner Bros. Pictures is moving forward with their fourth installment in the Matrix franchise. Back when the fourth film was announced, rumors had it that Michael B. Jordan was taking thr leading role in the film & that the film qould center on a young Morpheus. However, the rumor was put to rest & casting news remained in the dark.
Today Variety is reporting that Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will be joining The fourth Matrix film in the lead role! There’s no information on his role or the story of the film.
The film is set to go into production on the film in early 2020, Lana Wachowski co-wrote the script with Aleksander Hemon & David Mitchell and will direct the film.
