THE CW Announced That Constantine Will Make It’s Official Home On The Network As An Animated Series

It was a sad & dark day back in 2015 when fans got word that NBC had officially canceled the underrated Constantine series. Although fans thought the series was solid & that Matt Ryan had brought the John Constantine we’ve been asking for since the horrible Keanu Reeves film, the network lost faith in it.

The CW brought Matt Ryan over as Constantine to participate in their DC series’, but this didn’t appease some fans, but The CW has some great news in store for us! It was announced today that The CW Seed will bring Matt Ryan back as Constantine in his own animated series.

Whether other actors from the short-lived series will voice their respective characters in the animated series or not is still being left in the air. The great news was announced at the Television Critics Association winter press tour.

The series will have five or six 10-minute episodes that will release in 2017. Constantine will join Vixen, another animated series on The CW Seed.
