The Scary Movie Team Is Working On A Star Wars Spoof

Nothing seems to be safe when it comes to spoof films. From Scream to Pacific Rim to Fifty Shades of Grey. Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, the team behind the Scary Movie franchise has now signed up to make a Star Wars Spoof.

Star Worlds Episode XXXIVE=MC2: The Force Awakens The Last Jedi Who Went Rogue  will be written by Seltzer & Friedberg. Covert Media’s CEO Paul Hanson is producing the film with Broken Road Productions’ Todd Garner. As of right now, the story has not been revealed, but you can be sure to be in for a ton of laughs.

Hanson had this to say:

“Jason and Aaron are a powerhouse duo who have proven time and time again that they are fully tapped into the what audiences love. Their fearless take on pop culture has us beyond thrilled to tackle the world’s most popular franchise with the two of them leading us into a galaxy far, far away.”

No release date has been revealed.
