Matt Reeves Is In Early Talks To Helm The Batman Film

When Ben Affleck announced that he was stepping down from directing the Batman film, some moviegoers & Affleck fans went crazy. Affleck hit the mark as Batman in the 2016 Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film, but mostly everyone that enjoyed his role as Batman wanted to see him helm & write the solo Batman film.

With talks of many directors being looked at to fill the 2018 Batman solo film, news has finally broke that Planet of the Apes director Matt Reeves is in early talks to helm the Batman solo film. Although the Reeves is in the early stages of possibly directing the film, it would be a solid move on Warner Bros. part to bring him in.

Reeves’ War or the Planet of the Apes film will hit theaters on July 14, 2017.
