Child’s Play Is Getting A Television Series

Child’s Play Is Getting A Television Series

It looks like nothing can surely keep a good guy down. It was announced today that Child’s Play will get getting a television series. Bloody Disgusting sat down with Don Mancini, writer of Seed of Chucky, Curse of Chucky & Cult of Chucky, where he revealed that a series is know the way.

Mancini revealed that the series will “deliberately set up at end of the last movie,” & also said that the  “tone is dark and disturbing.” The series will be produced by David Kirschner & is said to bring back Brad Dourif, voice of Chucky, back for the series.

Kirschner added:

“I don’t think there’s a relationship that lasted this long. I’m incredibly excited about the series and to explore a world in which we’ve never done before.”

There is no release datedset for the series & no channel has been locked down or revealed yet. Let’s just hope this doesn’t stay in debelopdeve hell & ultimately end up like the CW’s unreleased Friday the 13th series.
