Disney Sets Off for Neverland in the First Trailer For ‘Peter Pan & Wendy’

Disney+ has now released the official poster and trailer for the upcoming movie Peter Pan & Wendy. Peter Pan & Wendy will be a live-action adaptation based on the 1953 animated classic and the novel written by J.M Barrie. The movie is set to release April 28,2023 on Disney+ exclusively.

The film stars Alexander Molony, Ever Anderson, Alyssa Wapanatâhk, Jacobi Jupe, Alan Tudyk, Jude Law, Yara Shahidi, Molly Parker, Joshua Pickering, and Jim Gaffigan. David Lowery serves as the director and co-writer along with Toby Halbrooks.

Lowery had this to say:

“In making Peter Pan & Wendy, we set out to craft a film that honors both the original J.M. Barrie text and Walt Disney’s animated adaptation; we wanted to invigorate our retelling with emotional sincerity, an open heart, and a grand yearning for adventure,” Lowery stated. “Hundreds of incredible artists spent many years bringing this film to the screen; I’m excited for audiences to see their work, to go on this ride, and to rediscover an evergreen tale from a new perspective.”

The official synopsis for the film is as follows: Live-action adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s classic tale of a boy who wouldn’t grow up and recruits three young siblings in London to join him on a magical adventure to the enchanted Neverland Island.
