Marvel released another TV spot for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which will be released in theaters on May 6, 2022. This new TV spot shows America Chavez, who newcomer Xochitl Gomez plays. Here she is displaying her new powers to Doctor Strange, and they are seen jumping through different dimensions in the multiverse.
America Chavez is relatively a new creation from Marvel. She first appeared in 2011 in the pages of a comic called Vengeance. She was created by writer Joe Casey and artist Nick Dragotta; she’s since become a Marvel Universe staple. America is one of the most powerful young heroes in the Marvel Universe & her primary power is the opening of so-called “star portals” that allow her to travel across Marvel’s Multiverse. She can hop from one reality to the next at will. Not only can she bring herself through these portals, but she can also take others.
The film is directed by Sam Raimi and stars Benedict Cumberbatch as Stephen Strange, alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stuhlbarg, & Rachel McAdams.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a sequel to Doctor Strange, Avengers: Endgame, WandaVision, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, as well as being a crossover/sequel to the first season of Loki and What If. So you can expect a bunch of cameos from our favorite heroes, and this will be a must to see in RealD 3D, IMAX, and ScreenX.
