Sean Marshall HBO Max opened the doors to their IT prequel series Welcome to Derry by revealing four cast members. The announcement came from Variety.
The cast revealed for the HBO IT prequel includes Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, and James Remar.
There is currently no synopsis for the series, but the official tagline for the series is as follows: “Set in the world of Stephen King’s It universe, Welcome to Derry is based on King’s It novel and expands the vision established by filmmaker Andy Muschietti in the feature films It and It Chapter Two.”
HBO Max officially picked up as a series in February. Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Jason Fuchs are behind the series, with Fuchs writing the script for the first episode. Andy is also confirmed to be returning to direct some episodes.
Welcome to Derry currently has no release date.
