Jason Momoa Gives Us Some Insight on the Villain Role He’ll Play in Universal’s ‘Fast X’

Jason Momoa recently spoke about the villainous role he’ll be playing in the Fast X film, which will be coming to theaters on May 19, 2023.

In an Entertainment Tonight interview, Momoa described his character’s attributes. Momoa said, “I’ve never played a character that’s, what’s the word — he’s evil and quirky and androgynous. He’s very sadistic and fun. It’s very bizarre.

Momoa will be joining Vin Diesel, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, John Cena, Jordana Brewster, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Scott Eastwood, Michael Rooker, Helen Mirren, Charlize Theron, Cardi B, Jason Momoa, Daniela Melchior, Brie Larson, Alan Ritchson, and Rita Moreno. The film will be directed by Louis Leterrier and written by Justin Lin and Dan Mazeau.

F9, also known as F9: The Fast Saga, was released on June 25, 2021. The film grossed over $726 million worldwide, which marked the film the fifth highest grossing film of 2021. Fast X will be a two-part finale that will close the story of Dominic Toretto & his crew.
