Kenshi’s Origin Is Explored in the ‘Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind’ Trailer

Warner Bros. Animation gave fans their first official look at their upcoming animated Mortal Kombat film Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind. Check out the trailer below. 

The film will be produced & directed by Rick Morales from a screenplay by Jeremy Adams. Mortal Kombat Snow Blind is the follow-up to  2021’s Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms. The film stars Manny Jacinto (Kenshi), David Wenham (Kano), Ron Yuan (Kuai Liang/Sub-Zero), Keith Silverstein (Kabal), Courtenay Taylor (Kira), Yuri Lowenthal (Kobra)Artt Butler (Shang Tsung, Lin Kuei) & Imari Williams (Tremor).

Many years after the events of Battle of the Realms, Kano seeks retribution with the aid of the Black Dragon as they terrorize town after town in Earthrealm until he blinds a swordsman named Kenshi. After being blind at the hands of Kano, Kenshi goes under the tutelage of an older Kuai-Liang for revenge on him.

Mortal Kombat Legends: Snow Blind is the third animated movie that comes from Warner Bros. Animation. The film will be released on October 11, 2022.
