Sean Marshall It was announced earlier this week that Venom 2 will be receiving a second villain to go up against Venom in the sequel. Shriek, who in the comics is a romantic interest to Cletus Kasaday aka Carnage is confirmed to be joining the sequel. Besides being a love interest of Carnage, she posseses mutant abilities that allow her to shoot Sonic energy & increase violent emotions in people.
Today it was announced that Naomie Harris is in talks to play Shriek alongside Tom Hardy, Woody Harrelson, & Michelle Williams. Andy Serkis is helming the sequel.
Venom 2 will hit theaters on October 2, 2020.
