Sons of Anarchy Mayan Spin-off Undergoes Major Changes

We reported on the Sons of Anarchy spin-off based on The Mayan motorcycle club last year. The spin-off sparked a lot of hype from the fans of the Sons of the Anarchy series, but the spin-off has flown under the radar of the general public for some time. Well, Kurt Sutter, creator of the Sons of Anarchy series has broken his silence & has updated fans with some information about The Mayans series.

According to Sutter, the Mayans spin-off is undergoing extensive reshoots, changes in casting & & rewrites. Sutter took to Twitter to explain the current changes.

Mayans MC will focus on the struggles of Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes, a prospect in the Mayan MC charter on the California/Mexico border. EZ is the gifted son of a proud Latino family, whose American dream was snuffed out by cartel violence. Now, his need for vengeance drives him toward a life he never intended and can never escape. The series will take place two & a half years after the ending of Sons of Anarchy.
