Adrian Ventura Warner Bros. Pictures is taking a unique pair from DC’s abyss of untouched characters & are activating the Wonder Twins.
The announcement came in today via The Hollywood Reporter that a Wonder Twins film is in the works with Adam Sztykiel, who wrote the upcoming Black Adam film, to write and direct a Wonder Twins film for HBO Max. The film will be produced by Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey (The Twilight Saga, The Maze Runner, Love, Simon).
No release date is announced but HBO Max has Blue Beetle, Batgirl & now Wonder Twins slated to premiere on its platform.
Jayna & her brother Zan are the Wonder Twins, a team of aliens who were first introduced in The All-New Super Friends Hour in 1977). Their powers are activated by touching rings, giving Jayna the ability to shape-shift into animals & Zan the ability to shape-shift into water constructs. They are from the planet Exxor & also have a pet space monkey named Gleek.
