Sean Marshall Disney decided to finally blow the dust off of the Fox X-Men: Animated Series & revive it! Yes, fans on the 90s animated series will be getting a revival series from Disney in 2023! The new series will be called X-Men ’97 & will pick up right where the 1997 series ended.
The returning voice cast will include: Cal Dodd, Lenore Zann, George Buza, Adrian Hough, Christopher Britton, Catherine Disher, Chris Potter, Alison Sealy-Smith, Alyson Court. The new voice actors joining the series include:J ennifer Hale, Anniwaa Buachie, Ray Chase, Matthew Waterson, JP Karliak, Holly Chou, Jeff Bennett, AJ LoCascio.
Beau DeMayo will be executive producing & will be the head writer for the series. Jake Castorena will be supervisor director & Charley Felesman will be supervising producing.
The original animated series ran from 1992-1997 & lasted 5 seasons.
